Help me with a base

I want to make an interesting base for the limited edition forge world guy who is basically a conversion of the guy below but holding an imperial guard dude in his left hand

i tried a snow base but didn\'t like the results
He is on a 4.6cm x 4.6cm square base if that is of any help

Does he still have the drill/jackhammer?

If so, you could do like a quarry base, with huge boulders and maybe a wooden sign...

Or you could just go for the classics:

Urban
Jungle
Desert

me i would go for a cobblestone street.
like hes rampaging through out town and no one can stop him.
maybe add a low ruined wall and some moss.:beer:

There\'s a new WH40k basing kit out tomorrow that has some features that may inspire including some brass etched signs and wire fencing bits. The model screams urban debris to me.
