HELP ME!

so im attempting a VERY daring eldar paint scheme of wich i must say now that i have it finished (except for jewels base and gold stuffs) i much like... at first it was lookin kinna like it wouldnt work out however now i much like it. at any rate i need help figureing out a colour for the jewels. PLEASE HELP! (comments on paint scheme apreciated too)

This is a very nice , original colour scheme, and very daring too- good luck with a whole army!

It reminds me of those cars you see that change colour depending how the light catches them.

In respect to the jewels, I would personally go for a red or green colour. As you have already done the helmet lenses green I would opt for red. Whatever colour you go for, they will need to be done well to compliment the superb armour.

I feel the eye lenses could benefit with more work too, going from dark to bright green, with white dots for light reflection too.

This is a tricky decision as the colours you have already are quite bold (are you a West Ham fan?). I would be tempted to try a red gem as it\'s a link between the two colours. Maybe you could do some tests on photoshop or similar to see what different colours would look like :idea:

I think yellow would look good, it is the complementary colour of purple:

well i tried red gems (well my lame attempt at it) and i like it heres a pick of it! still needs clear coat tho and still needs gloss on the gems... looks good i think tho (even moreso in person) 60 half decently painted gems on this thing.. should look better once they are glossed tho i think..

Yellow or bright orange if you ask me. Bright warm colors will outstand wel there IMHO. I find those you painted red are too dark ( I probably would start with a lighter base color)

What is it with the eldar and their frigging GEMS? ossessed: I agree, some warmer tones would help, and maybe an orangey highlight in the end opposite to the white light point... Overall, \'tis looking mighty fine though.

I think it looks pretty good.. But if you intend to make the purple look reflective, perhaps blue isn\'t the best colour.
Apart from that, it looks awesome

the gems need more contrast, and the armor should hilight up to near white.
