Yes it has to match the rules for both the game and the Army type of squad. (Fell foul of that one before!)

If you are talking about the Rules for Golden Deamon ......You\'\'ll be lucky. GW have altered the rules so many times and been a right bunch of gits in not adhereing to them themselves, that it\'s hard to tell what is \"legal\" or not for the painting competition. Plus they don\'t usualy post up what the rules are until close to the compition itself.
Best way to think of it is that for a squad they should be \'In the theme of the Army chosen\' , \'Legal\' in game terms, and able to be played with. (in otherwords even if you do a senic base make sure that they can be taken out and are on the right \"Slottabases\").
