Help needed sculpting weapons and fingers

Hello, I am wondering if anyone knows where i can find some good articles on sculpting, with my main interest being fingers and weapons. I have to repair some miniatures soon, and i need to replace a sword on an old high elf model, and may also need to sculpt some more hands for models soon as well. While any sculpting info is appreciated, that is what i am looking for mainly. As for making weapons, i am not too fussed which material is used (putty of plasticard), but i would like to find a guide of some kind. I have not been able to find on ewhen i search for them.

Go 1stlistsculpting yahoo group it\'s a good place to start.
For weapons you should try Milliput, Nural 34 or any that cures rock hard. Once cured you can sand and file it to have edges, etc... for fingers try kneadatite (aka greenstuff) wich works like old chewing gum. Give them a try, it\'s not as complicated at it might seem and it\'s hella fun.

as soon as my GS arrives im gona get making those scales! there fantastic and so easy too do
