for me the diet thing doesn\'t work, at least not alone.
About a year ago I had to stop running-n-stuff because I developed bone spurs (plantar fascitits -sp?) very painful. went fro 178lbs to 230lbs ib that year, and have become very twitchy and bitchy (make an effort not to be)
For me, When I exercise, my body craves heathier things, and I have way more energy, and defense against my natural mood shifts is better.
I read somewhere that any drink that contains caffiene does not hydrate the body very well, if you just stick to water and fruit juices (100%), and have the occaisonal sports drink when you exercise, you\'ll have better energy than caffiene could ever give you!
Last *whew* make sure you get enough sleep! When you don\'t, the body goes into stress-response, which can cause many problems, one of which is constant fatigue. I\'m done now!
P.S. Doc says I can start a walking routine today! yippee:bouncy:
now I\'m done, really!![]()

i drink plenty of water and have balanced diet (just not as many kilojoules as i used to)
how much sleep should a weight loseing bloke get?
i don\'t want to be bitter and narky (much) it just makes other peoples lives more miserable than they already where.

yeah mule the target was 50Kgs in one year. so i\'ll end up at 100kgs. (i am 6\'5\" so i doesn\'t look as bad as you think)
roughly 1 kg per week.
it went off a bit too quick early on and i felt like carp. but now it\'s slowed down too much but i feel better, figures.
it is getting hard to be motivated mostly because of my new moody personality (the other guy seemed unrealisticly optimistic.)
it\'s just too easy to eat over the limit in this country, almost nothing quick is on the menu.
still it\'s not impossible , i just proved it last couple of months.
make the mark 100 and i can play, 90 will kill me.![]()

Have you tried rolling your spur over a large (750ml) beer bottle? My mother had problems with spurs in her feet for years.
She started rolling a large (empty) beer bottle under her spur for 5-10 minutes a night, and took Silica. They were gone in 2 weeks. She recons some people take 2 months.
She used Blackmores Silica but she supposes (I just asked) any would do.

hadn\'t thought of that, but I\'ll probably use a tennis ball (no alcohol for me please) and try it! thank mule15% of the pain I used to have is still enough to make me hesitate on the walking.
how does 100kg\'s translate in pounds (not money) ??? I\'m game if it\'s not too far.:bouncy:

At the risk of starting a huge debate, have you looked into a low carb lifestyle? I\'ve been on reduced carbs for about a year and have to say that I kicked my caffeine habit and still have a lot more energy than I ever used to. I can eat satisfying portions, never have to starve myself or worry about fat content (except trans fats). Some of your moodiness, etc may come from blood sugar highs/lows. Controlled carb helps you keep your blood sugar level.
*ducks and braces for huge debates*
