HELP! Uh Oh, This is Serious...o_O...

Hi Di Ho!

Well... as you might have seen that Ben Komets and Me are planning to visit the Golden Demon Winners Day this year... There is one BIIIIG Problem for us...

We have bought the flight tickets relatively cheap without having thought about a hotel or other kind of accomodation for the time we spend in Nottingham... Well, we acutally thought about that, but hoped that a good Friend will help us out...

Now it seems as if we have a problem, because this Friend is not able to help us out, because he is very busy... that´s so sad...:(...

Soo... We need help... The situation is, that I can´t effort the costs of taking a hotel again (Brits are crazy about prices, aren´t they...:D...)... I won´t be able to come if we can´t find something very, very cheap or... well, or something else...;)...

And here´s the offer...:)... Will anybody accept two Multiple Goldem Demon Winners (Ben Komets and Matt Cexwish... two gentlemen plus we are good at chopping wood for winter...:D... Just kidding on both...:p...) to live at their place for about 3 days (our Flight is from October the 26th - we leave on October the 29th...)...?... We offer you to give you a Workshop (in order to improve your painting...:D...) and you can keep all Miniatures we paint in this time...

Don´t worry and please don´t be shy, we are easy going, sort of... guys without any special needs or something like that... see it with some student mentality...:)...

This (or something else, like really, really cheap hostels...) would help us out a lot... you really are our last hope... *sniff*...:D...

I\'ve sometimes wondered about your name, is it pronounced \'Sexwish\'? (my real reason for replying, I don\'t have a space for you guys unfortunately).

Depends on what \"good rates\" means... because paying 90 EURO for one night in a average hotel in Nottingham is like... Whoa...^-^...

And I have asked GW for the accomodation... they told me that this is just the Invitation as this, sadly nothing more... I can understand, no problem, but still... No Accomodation...:(... Buhuuuu...

Ah, I forgot, Nottingham is the best place but maybe something near that will be great as well as long as we have any kind of connection to the HQ... and the East Midlands Airport...

Gosh, it would be so great if this could work...

if you don\'t mind a bit of a drive to Nottingham, although thinking about it, it would probably be cheaper to get a B&B :rolleyes:

Is it the Gillingham, Kent in the South East of London...?... If so, hm... would be quite expensive, I guess, to get from there to Nottingham... Do you have any clue how much and so on...?... We don´t have a car... Jarr...:D...

Sorry i can\'t help. Besides being too far away my wife would have me hung, drawn and quartered. Having two GD winners giving lessons would of been nice though. :D

I think minimaker knows all the cheapest hostels.....but have you seen the film recently

I\'ve got a nice Merc 190E, so I s\'pose I\'d have to drive you up there, she\'s an old girl but she drives lovely :cool:
It\'s been quite a while since I\'ve been to Willow Road. Not sure, exactly, what it would cost now, but it would probably use at least a tank of petrol (£40+) a day(return trip), not to mention the 3-4 hours travelling time, each way :(
If it was just the one day the cost wouldn\'t be too bad, but I don\'t think it would be economically viable to travel up and back every day, it would also be a bit tireing

hmmm... perhaps the hostel idea would be a better one

I think that Ben checked all the possible Hostels as well but in the end they cost really much compared to European Standards... There was something about 50 EURO for a 10 room dorm with other dudes... o_O... Maybe this is considerably cheep in Uk...?...

Once again, thank you for considering that much efford from your site...:D... This is so nice...

Maybe some other ideas left...?... Might help if I say that we are no GD thieves... or feel really, really bad about that, seriously...:(....;)...

just did a seach with premier Inns came up with THIS

I also checked on multi map, it\'s 168 miles from my place to GW, according to them if we left at 0600 we\'d get there at 0855, including a brief stop. I honestly wouldn\'t mind doing the driving, I just couldn\'t cover the petrol at the moment. Which would probably be about £35 for a round trip, going by the multimap mileage
would\'ve been nice to spend some time with you guys

Damn, both Avicenna and I are in Devon, which would be about 4-5 hours away from Nottingham :( Otherwise I am sure we could accommodate you and the painting lessons would\'ve been great too!

Okay, we are Seriously thinking about your offer right now... there are still 3 days left, that´s really, really not much (3 days because we have to take an decision by then what to do...)...

So it´s basically possible to travell around in England, if it is not too far and the connection is not too bad and expensive...

Still, the best solution would be to have something in Nottingham of course...

Y\'all could stay at my place except my wifie doesn\'t like people very much...

Well that and it\'s a 5+ hour flight to the UK each day. :drunk:

I have added you at MSN, Mick, so I hope to talk to you sooooon... it is so far away, arr... plus Gillingham is much smaller than Nottingham, I guess, less tourist stuff maybe... hmhm... We still need help...
