Maybe if I was to paint a dragon or some other large scale model I would consider using an electric device. However, I paint mostly human-sized minis and I don\'t need to drill deeper than my pin vice can do. I feel I have better control when I\'m using the pin vice. It would be easy to drill through a mini with an electric drill, especially Rackham stuff since the metal is so soft and the details so slim. That\'s why. And... I\'m in no hurry and can afford to spend a few extra minutes drilling by hand.;)

Seriously Anders, electric drills are great. You just need a vice or very, very steady hands........ I haven\'t drilled my fingers too many times:D Dremels are the mutts nuts, and some of the carving/engraving tools are great for gouging out bits you don\'t want for conversions.:)

Wow, thanks everyone for all the advice and support! It really makes all the customer hassle seem a bit easier.

@Braveheart and TAB studio:
Thanks for the offers on sending me a drill/money, but Dragonsreach beat you to it ;) Thanks so very very much anyways!

I mainly use a pin vice (made te cheap way with a spare x-acto knife and drill bit) but as of late I have gone back to using my dremel to drill, I recently got a set of carbide drills, they go from 3mm to 0.3mm and are the best things ever. They are drill bits used in the electronics industry and then later re sharpened and sold on, best things ever, yes ever I say.
