help what camera

whatever you do it involves not spending any money for quite a long time!!!!
It\'s not as simple as what camera to buy, although look at the \"what camera do you use\" thread, look at the pictures and make a judgement if there is enough information.
Then see if the camera you want is still available, check ebay etc.......
but you\'ll have to save - as long as it takes; I\'d say £150 minimum will do it.

The one i like to take photos with is, Dimage Z3 4.0 megapixel
quite expensive but I think it is a good quality camera for photography and other stuff,

I\'ve just Google\'d (*) your camera, which is a 5 Megapixel camera.
You should be able to get relatively good photos with it.
I\'d suggest that you read the manual (**)and then read this article :Honza\'s Article that should help you in the first instance.
Then read all the articles about actual photography in this Forum.
Oh and when in doubt, don\'t forget to ASK FOR HELP.

Well the most important things in the list are White Balance, Exposure and Iso.
Exposure and Iso on digital cameras usually have an auto function or a built in exposure meter (which normaly activates when you hold the shutter button down halfway). Maybe if you really want to get it right it could be worth investing in a handheld exposure meter (if the camera doesnt have the inbuilt function). you should be able to pick one up relitively cheap, and a LOT cheaper than a new camera
Also, it\'s odd your camera doesn\'t have a macro function (as iv\'e seen really pants cameras with it!), the symbol for macro looks like a little tulip. See if you can find this too. It\'s essential for close up\'s.
