Help with Basing and Resin models please.

Heyo.

So, i\'m just about to get started on a Skarrd warband for Dark Age. I\'m wanting to do a sun bleeched hard pan for the bases, any suggestions. I\'d rather not paint the models and the bases seperatly if possible.

Additionally, i picked up the Blue Resin Ice Elemental from Dark Age. Is it okay to use super glue (zap-a-gap) on this or will it etch. Also, do i need to put a dull coat down if i want to paint on the resin, and will the dull coat diminish the transparancy of the resin?

for the base you could use filler and pva mix to create that look and either score some lines when still slightly damp (let it dry a little) or when dry (although it may crumble).

as for the resin, not sure. if you\'re not sure, i wouldn\'t use superglue. maybe pva will hold, as the resin is only light?

Superglue works fine on resin! No problem!

try just brush on primer. should be fine.may need a little roughing up with *very* fine sandpaper though
