Help with black pants and red hair

Frustration setting in, need some pointers to the black pants and red hair otherwise my hair will turn all grey... Yes it is already turning grey in a natural way and also my 3,5 year old son helps me in that respect also.

C&C regarding other details are also welcome.

OK
First Black Pants:
Reinforce the recesses with Dark grey & Black mix.
In deepest parts of recesses put a touch of thinned pure black.
If you have it (or can get it) use Vallejo Black Glaze thinned 50/50 and go over all the black areas it'll smooth out the tonality.
Work highlights and with tiny amounts of Bleach bone/Black mix and re glaze.
You'll end up with a softer graduation.

Red Hair The base colour you have is fine it just needs good shadow/shade.
I've used a dark red/black (Vallejo Airbrush Tank Brown) thinned and drawn down the deepest parts of the hair creases.
Highlight with Base colour mixed with tiny amounts of Bleached bone.

Dragonsreach gives very good advice, I'd agree w. everything he says. I'd also add to keep in mind that often, when highlighting black, less is more. Your main color should be the dark gray / black mix, w. some black in the recesses. Very small highlights will work best, and don't start to dial up the brightness too early trying for a smoothly blended transition. Your probably better off with two or three crisp layers where the folds are.

Also the glaze he mentions will help a lot (you can make your own by thinning down some regular back paint to almost the consistency of a wash, but it can be tricky to get the consistency just right). When I do black it almost always ends up looking gray despite my best attempts, so I have to knock it back with a glaze and re-highlight.
