Help with taking pics

Hi all,
Im new here my Name is Kane i live in the uk, ive been painting mini\'s for about 5/6 years
well anyway I was wondering whats the best way of taking pics of my mini\'s? i got a cheapish digi cam but i seam to get blurry pictures. a few people have said it\'s my fault for wobbling when taking the pics, which may be the case as some come out better than others! also can anyone give me any tips of taking pics of mini\'s?

Look on the forums there are a number of threads which details picture taking techniques. But the best investment is a Tripod. Doesn\'t have to be huge as tabletops size is what we are talking about but it will help to steady the camera by a factor of 1000.

As you are in the UK have a look in your local Jessops for an idea of cost then look around camera shops etc. Keep an eye open for the brand \'Hama\' as they have or had a couple of serviceable tripods.
I did see a small table top tripod for under a fiver in Tesco\'s recently, but cannot remember the make.

Once you get the idea of stabilty in the camera then you\'ll need to work on lighting. Look under articles for Honza\'s brilliant article on lighting miniatures.
