Hera and Guardian

Hi all, hope your all well, time for another quick wip me thinks.

Well this is one of the models that got me painting in the first place,

It is named Hera and guardian, aka summon guardian, A sexy seductress guarded by a summoned brute.

Its lived in a shoe box for too many years and and is overdue a repaint,

So here we go:

Base coats one hera are done, still trying to decide on a few tattoo styles for her leg and shoulder,

Made a start on the big man too:

Feel it looks like its lacking a little deapth or colour (help would be appreciated here, anyone know a colour i can wash it with to make it pop a little!!!)

Got the legs near done, me thinks its coming along nicely.

Coming along nicely! You need to put something by the figs to give a sense of scale, cause the Guardian is HUGE! I think it's supposed to be 1/8 scale or somesuch. I picked one of those up when it first came out. At the time it was darned cheap for what you got (35$ I think). It lurks in the basement waiting to be finished. Keep up the good work on yours!

Yeah, its a biggie, 1/8, stands about 11"

Got all base coats done and a bit of highlights, just need a few tattoos a little highlight n detail then im done me thinks!

Still not sure weather to base mine or leave it on the wood!

Very nice work. Though you might try blending a bit with the tattoos.
I'd go a bit further with the depth one these, but Nice Work!

So I'm just waiting for mine to arrive from Thailand. I didn't realize quite how large it really is. Now I have no idea how I'm going to paint it.

I'll be curious to hear how your Thai copy turns out. Copying resin is one thing, but this was originally a vinyl kit!
