Here\'s My Maidenhead

It\'s been a long time since I\'ve posted anything. Busy with commissions, but these two are up on ebay finally. Yay!
These are Maidenhead miniatures from Australia.
I was going for the tribal look with the white buckskin.
The one on top I had to sculpt the loin cloth with Green Stuff otherwise she looked really nasty squatting there like that with a very ill-sculpted front bottom.

Good solid work. It may be the photos but the squatting one looks a little better and more vibrant than the other. Nice skintones and the white is well done. I also really dig the little dude on the base. Is that part of the sculpt or did you add him yourself?

The skin tones on the right side of the second photo for the musician look a little yellowish...not sure if that\'s the pic. I can see the shade on some of the other photos, but it was most noticeable to me on that second one. I\'m not sure I\'d say it\'s a bad thing, since I really like the skin tones on both of them a lot.

Hmm...I totally didn\'t understand that bidding thing.

There looked to be a bid already, when I went to bid, so I didn\'t use the \'buy it now\' feature. I was then the top bidder for a while and someone else got it with the \'buy it now\'.

Can a user still take advantage of the \"buy it now\" after bids have been placed??

As long as the \'buy it now\' is higher than the current bid. If the bidding goes above the \'buy-it-now\' price, then the bidding is the only option.

Actually, it only works that way when there\'s a Reserve that\'s not yet been met -- if the highest bid is still less than the Reserve (and, therefore, there\'d be no binding contract for buyer nor seller if the auction ended at that less-than-Reserve price), then the Buy It Now price is still an option.
