My most recent mini is another dwarf, and I know that you are a fan!

Dwarf Slayer

I tried to apply the lighting suggestions offered by finn and others.

I didn\'t discover that Slayers don\'t use shields until after I painted the mini. At least I got the hair color right!

The picture quality is much improved from the last.

The dwarf is neatly painted, and I like the \"button shield\" design. The shield needs a little more....highlighting or something, because other than the design, it looks to static.

I really like the slayer characters as well, and have a few that I want to paint....(a have a few of everything that I want to paintlollol)

Nice one Dr Bob!

Very nice job on that mini. I feel that the photo looks better as more detail is visible in the areas of low light. It would be interesting to see if your scores improved on the other minis if you re-shot them. The danger is however, as Lurch recently discovered, sometimes bigger and better photos actually lead to a reduction in scoring. The jury is still out on that one....

This is a very nice dwarf. The hair looks very natural and the skin is quite nice. The black lining is indeed well done.
