As your favorite Canadian and someone you\'ve admired for some time, I am giving you permission to appreciate this post.
Bask in my low radiation emmissions from your monitor for just a moment. There, that feels nice, dunnit?
Thanks to all for the fun times on this board. I\'ve made some friends, and met some people who WON\'T be inviting me to their brithdays but mostly I feel this great board has been a gathering of friendly people with a passion for our smallest of hobbies.
From a model skill level the members of this board have given me great instruction, advice, and encouragement to advance my painting level and have helped me derive an even greater satisfaction from my hobby. Thanks for that, I can never repay you! Well maybe I could, but I\'m not gonna.
I\'ve really appreciated the respectful tones recieved universally as over the last 6 months or so I\'ve witnessed and taken part in debates ranging from Capital Punishment, the Merits (lack of) H.P. Lovecraft, to the usage of Lego blocks in miniature display plinths.
I want to take a moment and single out some members of the Academy for really taking some time and patience to help me out...
-GenerulPoleaxe/Chris. This guy photoshopped one of my mini\'s to show me how I could better create metals on my fig. That\'s insane! Taking the time from a guy across the world who likely will never make it down to his neck of the woods to buy hima deserved pint is why I have hope for this world.
-DragonsReach/Mike Dodds. St. Mike. Thanks for helping me out with encouragement and guidance on my models. Especially early on. It was a wake up call going from thinking I was hot shit with a brush to scoring 5.2 on my masterpieces and your point blank comments and advice helped put focus to the painting. Thanks!
-DragonForge Designs/Jeff. Met this guy though a debate on the economy and my wallet fell in love with his store. Buy his stuff!
-Darklord/Brett. Thanks for everything here and on WAMP. Nice to find someone willing to give your \"Masterpiece\" a 6/10 and tell you why. Thanks again amigo
-Matty1001. Peace sells, but who\'s buying?
-All the WAMP dogs. Freaks each and every one.
-GreenOne. Keep it French mes amis!
