Anyone else playing Heroes V by Ubisoft atm. ?

Anyone else notice the similarities between GW\'s minis (also some Illyad but mostly GW\'s) and their models?

Don\'t get me wrong, the game is awesome! I\'ve even descided to do some of the models in minis, because it would be SO easy due to the likeness...

Just take a look at this pic if you don\'t belive me, this was what the Treant looked like at beta:

And here is a little comment to the mod someone made, changing it back in the released game, as the model was changed (and in the game I thought it looked a bit hasty...)

Due to copyright infringement issues, Ubi and nival changed the Treant look between the beta phase and the retail version.

Hmmmmmm, I wonder WHO complained?

Anyways, just wanted to hear if anyone else noticed these things.

Now to get back to my campaign, damn that AI is insane!

I like that empire guy. He\'d make a great Khorne or Tzeench Lord. The treants were very close to GWs stuff but how many different ways can you do a tree dood?

Yeah, I would agree. GW is rather generic fantasy anyway, what with orcs/goblins, Empire or similar, noble warriors... there are only so many races or configurations possible without being similar to someone else\'s. And that empire guy is very cool :]

Don\'t think \"very close\" cuts it:

There are about 2000 ways to do a treeman, so that isn\'t an excuse... few examples:

scratch buildt ancient
another treeman conversion
Scibors treeman
And one of my favorites!

and it\'s not just the treeman that looks VERY much like GW\'s models. The Ghosts, are in a group, just like GW\'s models, and they look almost identical...

And one thing, I just got to that part in the campaign, is the Academy heroes. They ride elephants.. Never in the history of Heroes have Elephants been used, as mounts or monsters... all of a sudden, they are used and look VERY simmilar to this:
