You mean you don\'t have superpowers?

I am DrEvilmonki - with the power of evil monkis mwahahahahahaha!

With the cost of petrol these days I think flight would be a great money saver! :D

Yeah. My wife downloaded it for me. I hate downloading. I like the Japanese guy too. He is the guy who would be coming over to my house to watch movies or hanging out with at the local gaming store. I know it will sound strange, but he sounds Japanese. Not like he was Americanized. If you lived in Asia you will know what I am talking about.
But...I hated the show. The show wasn\'t that great to me. I will watch a couple more, and if it doesn\'t get better, I\'ll ignore it.

Not bad.

I really liked the Japanese \'time-bending\' guy. He was cool.

I would actually like to have the teleporter\'s powers.

\"Hey. Where did you go to lunch?\"

\"England. I wanted fish and chips\".

what do I need in order to watch this from the NBC site?
I watched episode 1 when I stayed late after work, but I would like to watch at home, but it\'s only giving me a screen with a gray line across it.

In my entire time on these boards I don\'t think there has been anything at all that you have liked in any way so this isn\'t at all surprising! ;)

I certainly didn\'t hate it. It\'s not brilliant but it is building pretty nicely into an interesting show.

I think some story lines are a lot more appealing than others right now. Hiro\'s great and the confusion at the end of episode 2 involving him is class. The flying guys are doing nothing for me so far. Indestructible Claire is kinda cool (But careful, jailbait alert!) but I’m already getting bad, hammy vibes off the bloke playing her dad. Hopefully they will avoid the same sort of sneering panto villain act as I had to put up with in prison break but I’m getting a bad feeling.

I’ll certainly be downloading it every week. No doubt they will show it on Channel 4 in 6 years time here in the UK but I just don’t fancy waiting that long!

Perhaps this aint the place for it, but I feel I should also sing the praises of season 4 of the Wire while we are talking about good TV. Now that is a really good show and although I\'m not quite as into this series as the previous three (probably like it just as much once I get used to the changes though) it\'s still bloody good.

Any updated opinions from others watching this?

This week\'s episode was fun - some nice teasers about the future (Peter\'s scar, Hiro becoming some sort of ninja warrior).

So far, I think the stripper\'s powers are most interesting. Her alter ego is clearly fully aware of her abilities, whereas the other characters are still \"feeling out\" their powers.

I wish the other characters\' abilities were a bit more original, but I\'m still enjoying the show.

Im enjoying it, iv just watched the 5th episode and its starting to pull together well, i wasnt to impressed with the 1st couple of episodes, i just thought it was copying other programs, but its starting to get its own \'personality\'.
And the Chinese blokes are great!

Bump!

Well, I found them! Episodes 2-4 anyway, on Limewire, and excellent video quality. And... I just watched them all :)

OK, my analysis is:

1) Living dead cheerleader = teh cool. That Y-incision scene was ultra-freaky  Her Buffy-style resolve combined with her unique means of killing are kinda creepy too.
2) Obviously the glinty eyed crazy villain dude is up to Something Big. BUT... they have to keep it from being some kind of dippy big conspiracy thing that gets wrapped up in its own entrails a la \"The X-Files\", or some kind of government super-soldier program thing a la \"Dark Angel\". They need to do something unique.
3) Way too many coincidences of the characters meeting each other, but I guess that\'s TV drama for you...
4) Stupidest politician ever. The guy hopes to get elected acting like THAT? Videotaped committing adultery in a casino? Pathetic. Good thing he can also fly, as a back-up career.
5) If this gets cancelled mid-season without explaining what\'s going on, there are going to be a LOT of people pissed off lol (they can commiserate with the Browncoats)

I doubt it will be cancelled, it\'s one of the most watched shows :)

This the bloke with the glasses and his African American mate? Because after watching the 5th episode i dont think he the bad character everyone thinks he is, he seems to help focus peoples powers more, IMO anyway. (But then i could turn out to be wrong!)

I agree After watchin ep 5 I think The glasses guy is not as bad as first thought, at least two peoples powers seem to have seriously improved since encountering him.

There techniques seem a bit scary though

e.g

How scary would it be to be tied to a bed and one stranger towering over you says to the big black stranger \"go deep, core him out\"... Mommy!

I\'m not sure what to make of the guy with the glasses, but I think it is fairly clear he is not \"good\". He obviously has a vested interest in all the folks manifesting their various abilities, and is perfectly willing to seriously mess with others to achieve his ends, whatever they are. Permanently wiping someone\'s memories is not a tactic generally employed by \"good guys\", nor is drugging, abducting, and experimenting on people (the telepathic guy who played Weiss on Alias).

I suspect Glasses Man is going to be more of a Magneto-type character - interested in the people with special abilities only so far as he can use them.
