Hey guys Please vote on my new minis!!!

hello all, i just put some new pics up and was wondering how you guys felt of some of my new minis. some or sorta old but never got around to photographing them. i got the chance today and although the pics are perfect i think they sorta capture the mood of the minis

so i would love it if you guys would take a look and comment or something and tell me if you like them and any criticism ect.

all very good

only a couple of things to add imo.

the female could do with more highlights on her dress and i would have celeborn\'s face slightly lighter. you have capture his expression beautifully though

Pretty good stuff all over. A couple of things to consider....

Try to pay more attention to the surface of the paint. In some cases it is pretty eveident that either the paint has gone on too thick, or, which I think is more likely, the surface of the metall is rough. You can see it especially on the LOTR minis (BTW, isn\'t that Cirdan, and not Celeborn?). There also seems to be mold lines, running down the cleavage on the bretonnian lady. Some watered down milliput and fine-grit sandpaper is the way to deal with things like this.

Highlights... On gollum you\'ve done well with the highlights as they are very important for the moonlight effect you were going for. But, on Celeborn (Cirdan) and the lady you could be a bit more adventurous.

Last, but not least... Please, get rid of those b***dy coins!! :cussing: If you really, really want them there, at least put them in the final pic, and not the top one. I hate seeing those coins included in miniature photographies. I usually know what size the miniature is, and I don\'t really care that much anyway. Furthermore, not everyone knows what size those coins are. I, for instance, have no idea...

i agree. a ruler would be better. i think they are usefull though. i find people don\'t appreciate how small some of these guys are. again, put it in the last photo though

Gollum was my fave of the four, but i voted on all.
