As some of you know I\'ve spent ages working on this little bitch, I\'m still not really happy but got to the \':cussing: it! I\'ve had enough, she\'s going up\' stage today, so here she is......

Not expecting to set the earth on fire score wise, but hoping for some helpful comments;)

I\'m aware that the base is dire, but it is only temporary, and it is my first attempt at working with Millipiut. She\'ll go on a diorama with other HF villagers eventually.

Voting and commenting(!) page HERE if you would be so kind:D

The metals of the pitcher and the mug are fantastic!! The dress looks good, but the white areas are very boring.

Flesh is very good and looks downright pinchable....

I like the base, to be honest...really looks like a rough hewn bar floor.

GreenOne

I paint my thumb.
I like the hair, very blonde.

The shading on the red is a little rough and too black, appears like some heavy leatherlike fabric, which would be damned incomfortable.

Guess the focus point is the...*cough* cleavage on this mini ( Cleavage is often a ladie\'s focus point irl too ;) ) and you did that pretty well :D

As vike said the metals are great. The red is also well executed. The skin has good highlighting, although maybe a little too light for my tastes. On your next scenic base like this I would cut off the slotta tab and pin her feet. The texture of the floor looks good but her connection to the base lets the good painting down a bit. Nice work overall.

Thanks for your positive comments guys!

@Vike.. the base is supposed to be a rough hewn bar floor, but IMO it\'s a bit TOO rough hewn;)

@GreenOne.. Don\'t tell anyone, but I did get a bit obsessed with her cleavage- was trying to get it to look just like mine-and suceededlol

@Philogus- the only reason I didn\'t cut the slotta off is \'cause this is a \'temporary\' base- she\'s going on a diorama eventually and I wanted to keep her \'slottable\' (ooh!) until I know *exactly* where she\'s going!

Glad you guys like the metals, I was pretty pleased with them- was going to try NMM but bottled out, now glad I did:)

Ace! Please tell more :D

Good solid mini. Nice fleshtones and convincing highlighting on the clothing. I really like the colours that you introduced into the metals. Only crit is the base... it does look like she\'s standing on a bouncy castle....Next time, cut the tab off between the feet and drill a hole into one of the feet and insert a bit of wire (I usually use paperclips)... then drill a hole into the base and slide the bugger home... Bob\'s yer aunties live-in-lover! Nice work!

on the milliput try putting two dowel rods in between when you roll it out that way you get an even surface. i use it with clay all the time. then score away to your hearts desire.

good job claire. she\'s really come along and your floorboards are better than the ones i tried (although still a little rounded for my liking) well done

The milliput is also sandable when its rock solid aswell and easy to score with a knife, you could have let it dry as a solid block then sanded flat and scored the woodgrain in.
Just an idea for the next time you try sculpting with the stuff.

The hair and flesh are fantastic.

Its just the slotta base which lets it down (though i did this with the Emporers Champion in my gallery before i even knew about pinning!)

i swore when i opened this thread that you posted a pic of my ex. creepy. well done though, i relly like her mugs, and the boobie area skin is perfect. the base does need to be changed.

for a bit of \"advanced\" advice id like to suggest that you bring up the hilights on the hair up to pure white in a few clean arcs on each of the ripples (take a look at peoples hair to get a better idea of what i mean than my poor description can convey).

Many thanks for all your advice and comments folks- and for your votes, I\'m over the moon with the 6.5 I\'ve got for this at the moment:D:D

Just about to start another mini, so apologies in advance for the no-doubt forthcoming \'Help Me\' WIP thread;)

Fair enough. I\'d like to see the final diorama.

I\'m sure it\'ll be posted here when it\'s done... probably in about three years at the rate I\'m NOT painting at the moment:rolleyes::D
