Finally they\'re done! The Dragon Princes looked so lovely to paint when primed, but they took a lot longer than I thought, and it wasn\'t always lovley...lol I feel really relieved that they are now off to the dullcoat stage :)

I think these are compairable to Alexi\'s work, and my favorite you\'ve done so far, I\'m really glad I don\'t have to worry about competing with you at GD.

The best part is this is a slap to the face of the theory that extremely tallented and beautiful women can\'t also be genuinely good people as well. Good stuff Anja. :)

Breathtakingly beautifull. Well first of all I love greens combines with golds, especially nmm. And as always..smoooooth. GW should be trilled to have you on board

WOW :eek::eek:

I absolutly love the green. You simply must share your secret. :D

You are one of the top painters on this site, and keep improving. With each and every mini you seem to refine and define your style. Keep it going and you will be #1 real soon. These are the best Dragon Princes out there!

Thanks guys!

The green armour is painted with a base of GW Catchan Green, highlighted with Vallejo Olive Green and Golden Olive. GW Rotting Flesh was mixed in for the final highlights.

The shields background and the banner were based also using GW Catachan Green and highlighted with GW Camo Green.

The Green gem on the shield is painted with Dark Angels Green, Snot Green and Scorpion Green, all of them GW colours.

Green and Gold, a classic combination that always looks good.

Just beautiful! Your hard work pays off big time.. :D You seem to have developed your freehand as well. I think each of your work shows improvement in some respect, and that is amazing.

Thanks Avelorn, I have been working hard on improving my freehand skills, and I have to say I like how this came out, although, it\'s not exactly the first motif I tried lol I still have a long way to go though, but I\'m getting there.

EDIT: I just read the comments on the picture, (thanks so much!) and I just have to explain that the green sides of the bases are a request from the customer. I would probably have painted them black otherwise, but they have to fit in with the rest of the army. :)

Gosh darnit you\'ve pushed the bar higher.

Now I\'m really going to have to work hard on my Puff the Magic Dragon Princes when I get around to them.
