High Elf Dragon

Once again another project like a lot of us soooo many projects that arnt finished!

Anyway back to subject iv always want the high elf lord on dragon think its a cool model and iv managed to get one.

Iv been searching for different ideas and i saw one with interchangable bodies held on with magnets. the dragon and riders were all orange and one of the comments that i could remember was they thought the rider should be a different shade of orange to the dragon.

also i want some ideas of colour cos i want something different. was thinking of purple cos on the box in the background there seems to be one done in purple or is it my eyes cos thinking now its the one on the back and its red! try figuring how i came to that!? (im not colour blind )

i want to push myself with painting and want to do more blending etc.

hope someone can help iv preped the dragon and stone so its already for priming

You can paint it in red with (almost) white wings and the guy on it could be with blue and white tones. You also could paint it quite dark using some dark grey and with a guy who could offer a good contrast with the dragon. Hope it helps.

The fluff for Warhammer dragons is fairly specific about coloration (Wood Elves get green, Dark Elves get black, etc.), so I\'d take a closer look at the HE fluff before deciding. I think red is common for the Dragon Mages, but blue is supposed to be more common for regular High Elf dragons (quite likely representing their connection to the sea). At least that\'s how the studio ones are always done.
