Great composition with the base. The freehands are very nice but could use a few more highlights. Contrast is great on the metals. I look forward to seeing some more of your work.

For the metal (armor), i \'ve worked for the 1st time with Humbrol Enamel.

I\'ve a question about the gems: how do you do to have bright gems? Here I take black on all the geme, Red gore on 2/3 of the gem, bood red on 1/4 (and on the red gore part), blazing orange on 1/10 (and on the blood red part) and a white on the black. May be, thes proportions are not good? I think my gems are a little too darck, no?

Love the freehand on this. It looks flawless. I really like the overall effect.

As for brighter gems, try using the Red Gore as your basecoat and highlighting up from there.

For an example of brighter gems using the same figure, look here

Tanks for your help. I saw your mini in the Chicago GD results some weeks ago. http://gamesday.us.games-workshop.com/GamesDay2005/Chicago_2005/Coverage/Golden_Demon/cat5_page.htm
Happy for the results?

Extremely happy!! I thought it would just make cut, so the trophy was a great surprise.

I\'m hoping to learn to elaborate on my freehand like you are doing. It\'s great inspiration.
