I also have painted High Exemplar Kreoss with a slight modification:
This is my first attempt at any sort of blending. The robes were base coated in black and then a layer of Baal Red. This was followed by a layer of Scab red and then adding Blood Red a little at a time until I got a shade of red I wanted. Highlights were done with a mix of Skull White and Blood Red.
This is also the first time I painted eyes. I started out with painting the eyes all white and then painting a dot where the pupil should be. I then Painted around the area where the eyes should be outlined. Finally, I Painted the skin.
The modification I spoke of is at the back. Kreoss normally has a pair of smokestacks [?] on his backpack which I snipped off.
