Well, first off, you don\'t HAVE to paint him exactly the same as the \'Eavy metal team :D

Secondly - I think I know the model you MEAN, but I can\'t remember what his armour looks like - can you give a link or attach a picture?

For a basic paint job I think the best way to go about it would be to use a black basecoat primer, second - Brass base coat maybe toned with a mix of Flesh wash or Brown wash.

Add additional layer on top of the first creating a sense of depth, keep adding layers atop the others with light tones.

Use a little less wash on each layer after the first & use gold mixed with brass to highlight, maybe a hint of silver to add highest reflected light.

Or go the easy way out and use black primer - Brass base coat - Make sure to use watered down multiple layers on top to get a solid brass color - wash with watered down flesh wash or Brown wash alllow to dry - if you want wash with watered down Black - highlight with layers of brass - highlight with mix of Brass & gold.

Or use black like I did & highlight grey
!EASY!

i always work from a black undercoat and have found this the best way for my metallics:

beaten copper
black ink
beaten copper
shining gold
mithril silver

sounds easy and when watered down (especially the ink) gives a nice finish IMO

hope this helps:D
