Hi CMON
I've been weaving both in and out of this forum for quite some time, always always admiring and being inspired by the stuff this community cranks out, but due to school (secondary and then university) I was never quite able to commit to a proper army, what with time and work and keeping my grades up and all.
Well, now that I'm a graduate, and seeing as how the financial industry is tanked to hell and my financial/statistical specialization is going nowhere, I find myself happily unemployed and with a lot more free time at present, so here I am trying to make something of myself.
"But mansauce, what happens if you get a job?"
Well, I'll still stick to this thing. I figure I've always wanted an army I could be proud of and one I could play with, so even if the updates are slow, they'll still come.
"Wow, yet another guy who thinks he's gonna go places and have a decently paint log, please."
Hey man, don't be hating, I'm good for it, promise! Here, I'll show you how commited I am with my workspace and all.
"Alright fine, you're off the hook... for now. What are you going to be doing then?"
Well, I'm glad you asked. I've been painting for some 6 years now (21 y.o. at present) and have always been fond of a very particular nid scheme I saw briefly in their 4th ed codex.
So this colour scheme I absolutely fell in love with, and it's been sitting in the back of my mind for the entire time I've been in the hobby. Now that I can, I intend to do a kickass army to that standard. However, there is a problem, and you may have noticed it already:
There's ALOT of gaunts. To add insult to injury, I want to run a nidzilla list (3 tervigons, 3 trygons, hive guard, umadbro?) So I have to have a safety stock of gaunts. I need 120. I have 30. Eugh
"LOL alright there buddy, good luck with that. Say, is that a trygon I see there?"
Well you're an observant bunch, aren't you?
