Alright chaps,

Ok so i have been working on a few Tyranids towards the end of last year and more so this year,

I currently have over 4500pts painted and another 4000pts needing paint.

The list of items painted is as follows.

1 Hive Tyrant with Wings
1 Parasite of Mortrex
4 Zoanthropes
50 Hormaguants (with Wings to represent fleet)
40 Gargoyles
6 Shrikes
3 Trygons
3 Carnifex with TL devourers
5 Carnifex with Crushing claws and Scything talons
20 Termagaunts
1 biovore
1 venomthrope
1 lictor
1 Scythed Heriodule

cool! ugh, thats a lot of bugs! and i thought it was much even before i saw that last picture. impressive that you manage to paint an army like this where everything look the same sort of. i'd die for less!

Picked up a trygon dirt cheap on ebay, so ill be painting it soon.

Yep i want a very large army all painted with the same scheme, i am aiming for around 3 of each unit in the codex, so i have a few more nids to get yet

Added a Tervigon and 2nd Venomthrope to the horde just now

That's a huge army! As SkelettetS said, I would also die before finishing half of it!
Good job, but I have a question, I am not a player myself, but how do you carry such an army? how many cases do you have?

I have 1 largish case for the elites and heavies, 1 double for the troops and 1 very large hme made case for the main army in the large pic.

So I managed to get the swarmlord finished this weekend, I got a load of other Nids Stuck together as well, they will be undercoated this evening.

that is really cool=) i´d love to have a nice army like this to play with if i had the time, money or discipline i tend to like nids more and more, and these are great looking!

Ok so I took some updated Army shots last night, apologies for the size and darkness these are the best I can do atm. Ill try and convince my local GC to let me set up and take some better pictures.

Army is looking good. Be awesome to see when your all done. I can almost see that massive swarm of gaunts now

I agree it should be a sight to behold when this swarm takes to the field of battle great use of extreme colour without going totally bonkers slaanesh.
