Hmm, whats NMM?!

I was reading some comments about some pictures on CMON.com and I came across the abreviation NMM when refering to metalic colors i believe?

I am just wondering what NMM means, thanks!

Non Metallic Metal instead of using metalic paints for metal peices you blend various greys so it looks like metal but really isnt

NMM = Non Metallic Metal

for example Gold NMM uses shades on brown and yellow to create an artificial Gold.

Its quite an advance technique though, requires a lot of layes and blending.
