I'm glad you updated this thread, else I may well have missed it! Absolutely gobsmacked at the incredible detail in this model diorama! Reckon i've learned a few new interesting bits and pieces too, so it cirtainly does it's job!
The bust history and the wood is awesome, owning a piece of history like that must be very humbling.

epic work mr reid just for your information (nelson bust wood from the ship etc) the london mint produced a run of solid silver coins depicting nelson's life, ships and battles one of these coins also contained copper and wood from the original hull i believe the copper was taken from the magazine as well as the hull they would make a wonderful addition to your display.
