hobbiests in unusual places

where the strangist place youve seen or know a hobbiest.I diodnt know that my english teacher painted for wargames foundry until recently.Any one else found any other hobbiests in your daily lives??

My father used to paint model aeroplanes whilst perched on the bird table in the garden, whistling Frank Sinatra tunes all the while.

How about painting at sea not always in a combat area but then I did manage to paint up an entire epic titan legion during the Gulf War in 1990 (not bad for a three month stint on a ship), because I had to fly out and back I was limited on what I could take so epic was the obvious choice.

Had a friend that did model airplanes while on an off-shore oil well. Would fire them up and buzz the supply boats - until one of the boat captains shot down his toy plane.

I just found out that our manager of networking here paints minis (or at least did a few years ago.) He saw another coworker with a Warmachine book.

Now he\'s thinking about starting up again! Woo hoo!

found out my religion teacher played D&D... people also found out i was a painter at a summer training course... id be painting (wasnt as good at the time) and people were sitting tehre watching me lol
