Just read the entry rules for the competition, NO specific Fantasy or SciFi categories, and MAX 3 entries per category so this will be an interesting competition.
I don't envy the judges having to score the differing styles of Historical and Fantasy/SciFi against one another as typically there's a marked difference.
Anyhow ZAB get in there and make us proud lad!

Well you've got four months to knock the painting out of the park.
Pick a figure you like and do a WIP.

Zab, slow down, control that breathing! Your excitement is duly noted, should I look for you out front at 5AM on July 12?

Thanks for the comments Dragonsreach. We're starting small this year to test the waters, Toronto has gone without any real painting competitions/communities for far too long.

(It's 3 entries per competitor, per category in case that wasn't clear)

Agreed! That's why I was hyper ventilating ;)

Oh I've got a few pieces from earlier this year I would like to enter and if I can get all my stuff for the NOVA charities done maybe I can enter Digga's Giant Squig!

We would like to thank everyone very much for coming out! From the initial buzz, it seems like people had a great time, gaming, socializing and shopping. We specifically want to thank all our GMs for running their games - everything looked fantastic! The raffle was incredibly successful, with us raising $1000 for Wounded Warriors, so thank you to all that bought tickets, and to all of our generous sponsors! Congratulations to two CMON members for their awards in the Golden Helmet contest.
Hope to see everyone back again next year, so stay tuned for Hold the Line 2015 announcements!

Thanks for organizing that Alex! That was a really great way to bring back mini conventions to Toronto after years of nothing! The xwing table was just so over the top awesome! My 5 year old even walked away with a new card game (that she keeps kicking my butt at - grrr, stupid Gopher It!) and she and the wife both seem interested in Deeps Wars after watching one of the demos. I feel like i might be painting fish and stuff in the near future o_O I'll be watching for the 2015 show and spreading the word!
Thanks again!
Neil :)

Joking aside it's great to see a game / painting Fest start up, here's hoping that this was the first of many more years to come!
