Holy Crap..or Unholy actually

 Mommy.....

Sheesh, with all this big Chaos stuff coming out, you\'d think they would put out the Primarchs or something.. I mean, sure the SM and IG have all the big vehicles, but Chaos has them too (pretty much... actually all of them if you used Lost and the Damned rules)

Am I right in thinking that resin models can get finer detail than metal? Some oif the detail on the forgeworld stuff is amazing.

This is an awesome model.

The detail on this thing is stunning...the skin...the veins...even the khorne symbol on the bottom of the axe handle...

Yep, pretty cool. :D But I must not fork out another £125 this year on forgeworld stuff. Hey has anyone else noticed that the majority of the pics of the Fire Dragon do not show the entire model? The tip of the tail is missing.... ???

It\'s nice. Too nice. I\'ll see about picking this up later this year. I need to get Gauth and the fire dragon first.

Was this just your mini? Did others get a dragon with a bad tail? I just want to know before I buy this thing.

No, my box set is complete. The pics of the finished mini:

http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/dragon.htm

show the painted model but if you look very closely at the second pic, the end of the tail isn\'t there, but it is there in the other pics further down the page.

Actually, the tail is there, but it curves up a bit, so you see the dark shadow on the underside of the tail, which makes it look like it\'s gone.

There are some quite remarkable similarities

Hey, would you look at that...it\'s the NetherAxe...how peculiar...
I haven\'t looked at the price but, two points will be salient:

a) It\'s plastic, ...okay resin but it\'s all the bloody same.

b) As I said, I haven\'t looked at the price but I will bet my \'family jewels\' it\'s considerably more expensive than Andy Foster\'s Netherlord.:D

This thing does look to be twice the size of the netherlord though.

But how big do you really need a demon to be? This thing looks like it\'d be a beast to lug around for gaming, not to mention the whips etc could break all-too-easily. As a piece of sculpture it\'s awe-inspiring though!

considerably less....

That Chaos War Mammoth set me back 365 bones! But I\'d have to say, it is the prize of my collection....

I am going to consider buying this ugly little fellow, at only 225 bucks, it is almost a deal (comparitively speaking)

Plus, I am glad to see Forgeworld extending the line.

That\'s one of those models where my common sense kicks in...

Unlike the 3 or 4 dollar Reaper offerings, that monstrosity is something I *KNOW* I\'ll never paint...so I can resist buying that one.... :)
