Result!

Look on the bright side Darth

If you were in the shite, would you want to see a French Lawyer galloping over the horizon?

Imagine how likely he is to endear himself to judge and jury?

Mind you, there is the slight problem that Mr Hussein, whilst being guilty of many things, is (IMO) entirely innocent of what America has been led to believe he is guilty of:duh:

It is quite possible that Sad actually hated Mr Laden even more than your own, illustrious Mr Boosh.:flip:

Oh, he ain\'t my Mr. Boosh. ;)

Saddam is most likely guilty of some very terrible things. Having WMD\'s just prior to this latest conflict, IMO, is not one of them. But if they try him for crimes against humanity for his actions against the Kurds, then probably he\'s guilty. *shrug* I just don\'t think it should be our job to go traipsing around deciding which little dictators to eliminate and which to leave alone.

However, a French lawyer is indeed very likely to garner a large hate vote. SO maybe it\'ll work out. :)

It\'s complicated for sure...

Personally, I would have financed Mr Hussein to assist in the disposal of Mr Laden, but I am just one of those evil, seditious English persons.
I too, disown Mr Bleargh.
Not devious enough, by a long shot:D

That\'s the Brits for you. Give us a war and we\'ll be there.....selling arms to both sides.

I could also make the comment: Isn\'t an unholy crap one that happens after 10 pints of lager and a mixed meat Phaal?! But that would be cheap and unnecessary. lollol

Good point...

But there again we do have to compete with the French, Russians, Americans and Israelis on that particular score. And, if you think about famous weapons, AK47, Armalite, Uzi, Exocette, etc I would say that we aren\'t the baddest persons out there.

In fact, I think this another area in which we unnecessarily flog ourselves to death..what household-name weapon do we market? VTOL aircraft is the only one that I can think of, and that is not neccessarily even a weapon.

british made weaponry....

The Sten Gun

The Bren Gun

Oil slicks from the back of cars

Exploding/Dart shooting Ink Pens

Laser Beam Wristwatches

Twirling Neck Ties with razor blades

Admittedly some of these are straight from James Bond movies, but they still count right??

Actually I thought there was a recent submachine gun...MK 5 or something....

I don\'t know my guns too well....:D

I guess you\'re right - I mean most of our sales are for training equipment like the Hawk. It\'s a bit like the police being surprised that people can turn replica firearms into real guns! What a surprise when our trainer suddenly becomes their fighter!

Oil slicks from the back of cars (That\'s an accident. That\'s just cos we make crap, leaky cars)

Exploding/Dart shooting Ink Pens (that also take the owners eye out)

Laser Beam Wristwatches (oh, come on!!!)

Twirling Neck Ties with razor blades (Okay, yeah, we did invent them. The fatal flaw was having to throw yourself throat-first towards the enemy)

Admittedly some of these are straight from James Bond movies, but they still count right??(NO!!)

Actually I thought there was a recent submachine gun...MK 5 or something....(It jams and will only work in cold rainy environments)

I don\'t know my guns too well....:D (You don\'t need to. The world\'s terrorists and mercenaries aren\'t armed with Mk 5s. I think the good names of Mr Kalishnikov and Uzi are quite safe)

Heheh, Canada has created many implements of mass destruction...I think our most deadly and effective is \"please\".....I bet Canada will eventually take over the world, just by politely stepping up to a president or some such and saying \"Could I please have your country, eh?\" And of course, the rest of the world would ignore sweet, unassuming Canada until it\'s too late.....Muhahahaha!!!

Of course, up here in Canada, eh, our military is so underfunded that our brave lads and lasses are fighting camoflagued as trees in A FRICKIN\' DESERT!!! Godamn, considering how much money we waste on piece of shit helicopters, and old subs from britain, you\'d think we could afford to give our troops camo that actually matches the terrain!! Christ, they stick out more than if they didn\'t have green fatigues on at all.......Do we really expect the nice bad guys to ignore the thousands of moving green bushes roaming the desert!!! Our government sure does.....Not that I advocate war, but I think if we are gonna send them off, we might as well give them a chance of surviving.

Nelson, you have got the wrong end of the stick...

Making your troops stick out like a sore thumb is a legitimate military tactic. We made our poor sods wear bright red for hundreds of years and they were not, under any circumstances allowed to run towards the enemy. Strict orders made them march at a slow pace.
Possibly stupid tactics, but you\'d be surprised how many oponents just chose to leg it. Faced with such mind-numbing stupidity I would have run as well:D

You know Finn, I had a buddy in Dallas who was a Lotus Mechanic - he swore that Lotus\'s were designed to leak oil so you changed the oil more frequently.

As for what you mentioned, this is true - thats why I drive a vehicle designed by Germans and assembled in Canada - A Dodge :D

Ah car acronyms.
