Wow very nice. The demons and that blue monstrosity are my favorites. And that coal/fire base is the best looking take I have seen on the lava genre of bases. Thanks for sharing the inspiration with us.

Black and white foundation - this is pre-highlighting(under-highlighting?) stage -> glazes with Mephiston Red -> REMEMBER: paint little highlights because it will turn out pinkish than redish color -> highlighting with mephiston red : orange fluo (VMC) 2:1 -> top highlights with mephiston red: white 1:1 -> glazes with Endandil violet (scale75, Liche purple from old GW is almost the same) and that's all

Ahh.. so a bit of orange fluo (VMC) is the trick (all the other is rather close to what I have been trying)

I like it but the robes either need more contrast or some of the color from the base brought into them, they are too different from the rest of your style. That sword though? Sharp!

Yeah, robe needed more contrast. I didn't want to overcontrast it but I didn't paint contrast at all haha

I am in absolute awe of the painting skill in this thread. Incredible stuff!

Also, the guys on Painting Buddha on Youtube have amazing tutorials on the blending, shading and NMM techniques. I watch them all the time. Now to get proficient enough to use them!
