Horus

Hello all,

My first post on this forum, so I will first introduce quickly myself. My name is Cedric Lurkin aka Brother Sinaer, owner of www.repent.be, Belgian, 31 years old, painting and converting for 15 years now.

I am terminatorholic but have also some addiction to whatever wears a big armor.

My latest project has been to make a Horus, inspired by the well known artwork of Adrian Smith.

Here are some shots of the conversion until now:

Comments and constructive criticisms welcome.
Painting will not be done by me but a friend of mine. Hopefully pictures soon.

Cheers,

Ced

Welcome to the forum :).

Interesting project you\'ve started there!

What are the grey armor bolts made of?

It looks way cool, i really liked the \"eyes\" made with GS, but was wondering since it\'s a conversion, are you going to do anything to the talon to make it differ from abbadon\'s. I know they are the same but maybe make it a bit more personal to your Horus? i say this because i have an Abbadon figure but i don make conversions of any kind, but I think the \"Talon Of Horus\" could look a bit better if it was like razor sharp Blades, instead of \"Claw\" looking. Good Luck with your conversion!!

Hi all,

Here is one of the new WIP shots:

I have not done anything to the claw since in my opinion it is the one of Horus that Abaddon took. And I could not find anything saying that he changed it so... and I could have started to change the blades indeed but I simply sanded them a bit down to get a sharper look.

The grey rivets are from a company I can\'t remind the name. They produce plastic rivets, really easy to use.

The painting is in progress and I will get the model available for pictures once completed by the painter.

You can find more pics on my website:
http://www.repent.be

In the WIPs section obviously.

Cheers,

Ced

Hey Ced,

First off welcome to the forum..and second very nice conversion.

Are the rivits made by Grandt Line? made on strips about a 100 to a package? if so I use tons of them.

Did you use any of the power cables yet? I cant wait to see it painted.

Jeff
