I would like to pose a question in the style of some of my Uni lecturers:

Mmmmmmmmmm Chilli, discuss.

After chopping chilis (jalapenos or anything hotter), make sure you wash your hands thoroughly before getting frisky. Otherwise you and your significant other will be in for an unpleasant surprise. I am sad to say I know this from personal experience!

Depends on what you call unpleasent. Been there too but it was ......interesting.....and lasting. Don\'t recommend it for most people.

Years ago at an old job one of the guys brought in a bottle of this stuff called Inferno sauce or something like that..was supposed to be the hottest stuff made.. a small 1/2 centimeter drop on a taco chip tore your mouth up.. this one fool was like oh this is nothing Ive had worse so someone bet him he couldnt do a spoonfull.

Ive never seen a person head turn that red before. We almost thought he was going to have a heart attack..

Chopping peppers and wearing contact lenses is a dangerous combination. Not the wearing of the lenses in itself, but when you remove the lenses a few hours later you can be in for an unpleasant experience (even if you\'ve washed your hands).

Yes, excellent. The hotter the better.
Ditto (sort of) - Habaneros here I come, but I\'m not going near that Dorset Naga or the Jalokia

lol

The words \'hot chilli sauce\' and Tabasco shouldn\'t really be in the same sentence though. Well, except if you\'re saying, \"Tabasco isn\'t a hot chilli sauce.\" :D

Having made the mistake of chopping jalapeono\'s and then getting shall we say frisky all I can recommend is lemon or lime juice - it removes the pepper oil from your hands and other body parts.

And Tabasco isn\'t hot, its a flavoring.lol

Proper chili, should be made with a generous helping of dark chocolate in the sauce. If you haven\'t already tried it, give it a go.
