Proper chili, should be made with a generous helping of dark chocolate in the sauce. If you haven\'t already tried it, give it a go.:drool:

And hot choccie a sprinkle of chilli

Not that surprising. I have a couple chili recipes that call for grated chocolate.

p.s. I\'m not big on the hot chilis. Capsacin (what makes chili hot) actually damages the nerves in your tongue and over a long period of time, or shorter with more hot, you become less sensitive to it. So I use sparingly.

Yeah - at least, that\'s what I use.

I prefer options, so a few spoonfuls, then chuck in a tsp or so of chilli powder, add your hot milk (Or cold then microwave) and stir.

Dunno about actual chopped chilli, as you might not taste it, plus there\'d be loads of floating bits in your drink :p
I\'m not sure about using hotter chilli either, as I would suspect the milk might dampen the \"hit\" somewhat.

Beat ya! :p

What just chilli powder?

Absolutely! Just put a pinch in as you make your cocoa. Gives it a nice warmth, which with the mellow round chocolate flavour is delish :D

Hmmm... don\'t think that quite captures it.

:drunk::drunk::drunk:

I got in from the pub last night and had two cans of Stag dynamite hot chilli (not that hot really but still good for fake chilli) which I suppose led to the topic posting lol still two pages of chilli talk can\'t be bad.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm chilli:drunk::drunk::drunk:

Cincinnati style Chili which is actually Greek they say..is served over a heaping plate of pasta with a big gob of shredded cheddar cheese on top. You can also add onions and beans on top.

The chili has some dark chocolte in it from what Ive been told. It is totally diifferent from whats is known as a Texas style chili.

Mmmmm garlic and chilli spagetti. Sautee 3 cloves of crushed garlic and as many chillis to taste in 4tsb\'s of olive oil for about 3 minutes then add pre cooked spagetti with a touch of water to the frying pan and mix everything up. Keep stirring until all the water and oil burns off then add a huge handful of freshly torn basil (I grow my own, don\'t get fresher than that!) and half a handful of grated parmesan, stir and serve!

Bloody lush! Something I came up with one night when bored! There is probably recipies like it, but I havn\'t seen them before.

Have you tried roasting the garlic first to make it sweet? Think that might be a nice contrast
