Before you sign up for any online free site, I would contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
There are very few that don\'t provide you with some free webspace and alternate email adresses.
Most give you about 5-20 Megs for free, and if you combine that with a photo storage site like Photobucket you should have plenty of room to do a mini site.
With my Free Webspace I host a page for my old company Gilvan Blight\'s Trading Post (used to sell collectables on eBay), a site for my Wifes project, Recyled FairyTales (selling vintage kids books and art made from vintage kids books), a site for the selling of vintage toys, RetroToybox, what The Trading post pretty much became, and my Windsor Gaming Resource Website. All of this tracks in at under 10 megs.
Acessing your webspace is easy with software like WSFTP which you can get for free. Of you can just use ftp right in your browser if you are using Internet Explorer.
Most of what you want is probably already provided for you, and you just don\'t realize it. Give them a call and ask. If they don\'t I would suggest swapping ISPs before signing up for one of those geocities or other sites.
