What photo editing programme are you using?
With Photoshop when you are saving your photo choose the \"save for web\" option. You can resize the picture by pixel count (I usually go between 600 to 800 wide) and there is a quality slide from 0 to 100% and there is little difference from 70-100.

If you host them on an online photo account like photobucket the size limit doesn\'t apply ( I think ) so I just do that.
The width is the only one I worry about.

The other thing that is useful if you use something like photobucket is that its possible to change the photos of your minis for better ones if get a new camera etc without posting it as a new submission. Just delete the original photos in photobucket. Then upload your new one and make sure you name it exactly the same. Hey presto coolminiornot is now using your new photo. It only refers to the file location on photobucket, so aslong as the name is identical it will change the pic.

With pshop, you click \"File\" \"Save for Web\" then make adjustments to pixels and file size until it is ok for cmon and you.

(which site is \"this\" site?)
