How do I strip paint off of a miniature????

Hello and thank you for viewing. I am having trouble stripping the paint off of my miniatures. Does anyone have a tried and true technique for doing this? Thanks,

However, I just spent all weekend stripping minis using Polycell Maximum Strength paint stripper -WOW! Totally clean minis. Nasty stuf but WTF

well I\'v always had suces using brake fluid. It works really nice for me, and it dosn\'t melt plastics ( as long as you don\'t leave the mini in there for weeks). Other then I think pine sol is suposed to work pretty well.
I would sugest you search the forum, as their as been a good number of threads on the subject, you will find all possible methose know to man kind that way Good luck

That Polycell Max Strength will take the paint off almost instantly! Wurzag is right, paint stripper is the nuts!lol

That\'s it, I\'m officially going to copy every NMM, Snow, and Paint stripping thread and just copy and paste when the need arises!

Pinesol and Ammonia. 30 minutes. Soft Wire Brush. Done.

I used citri strip wich is pretty good and cleans metal in about 24 hours, the only problem is that it DOES MELT PLASTICS

If you want to strip your minis...

the best thing to do is give them pleanty of liquor and tell them they look tall. Then tell them you want a commitment. The paint should fall off. It\'s especially good if you have some Phil Collins or REO Speedwagon playing in the background.

@ipaintminis: Carb Cleaner? Is that a Dr. Atkins thing?
