I tried to upload one, but it seems that I can only upload it as an auction, and I'm just trying to add it to the overall gallery of this site, not to sell it 
How do I upload an image to the gallery?

well, now I seriously don't know what to do after clicking on "add this picture"

I don't know if I must be redirected to other page or if it even worked out, because I tried to find it on the gallery but it's not there as far I can see
argh... the worst part is that I have the feeling that it's because I can't find a big brilliant and evergrowing button that screams "CLICK HERE TO POST"

See that bit that says 'Status: waiting', that's your clue. It's waiting to be approved. Once it is, it will show in search results. Until then, it does exist as an image on the site at http://www.coolminiornot.com/297968. It normally takes between a few hours to a few days for a submission to be approved.
