Dangerous when wet
Hey,
I\'ve had a bit of a lurk and I can\'t see much on advice about scenic water. I want to create a small waterfall into a pond, which ideally I would like to round off flush with the base in the style of a cross section (you know what I mean right, with clear sides?)
so I guess that my questions are these:
1. What is the best material/product to use for each of the elements (waterfall and lake shore)
2. How do I go about doing it - are there any tricks of the trade to make it more effective?
3. can I dye the water (make it muddy, reflecting the sky etc)
4. Can I sand/file/paint it when it\'s done?
5. Does it discolour over time and can I avoid that, maybe varnish or something?
6. Are there any considerations about the surface onto which the scenic water is being poured?
7. Is it possible to do convincing white water? (at the foot of the waterfall and under the water for instance)
8. Can I get really trixy and suspend little fish or similar in the water?
Phew! now I come to write it out I realise how many questions I have on the subject!
Thanks,
