How many of us paint for a living.

Seeing some of the other polls, and the amount of people that say they paint for a living got me to thinking. How many of you paint to put food on the table? Is it the only thing you do?

I personally paint to relieve stress, but have thought about going \"pro\".
How about the rest of you?

I paint for a so called \'living\'. It\'s bloody difficult to earn enough money to call it a living though. If you can knock out armies worth of figures at the drop of a hat then you\'ll probably be able to get a fair (but still low) weekly wage. There appear to be far less people who are willing to pay the kind of prices that are deserving of the higher quality work though. £200 for an ok looking army or £200 for a really high quality character paint job! People tend to go for quantity in these circumstances rather than quality.
