How many projects?

So I've been doing a fair bit of painting the last few days, staying away from this unreasonable heat we're getting in the UK, and I stop for a few minutes to count how many different projects I have on the go. I currently have 7 actually working on now or in the past week. Other thing I notice is how varied the projects are, anyone else keep loads of projects going at the same time? I figured I've done it subconsciously so it doesn't get stale painting the same thing. Any thoughts? At the moment I have Blood angels, Skaven, Deathguard, Sylvaneth, Elves, Astra Militarum and Tau.

Too many... just too many.

Not counting those I put in a box, so I don't see them:
- Some Nighthaunt and Wych elf figures
- a AoS diorama
- 2 KD minis
- a NMM-gold Ylliad games figure
- 2 busts
- now 1 54mm+ figure (just finished the Nier Automata 2B figure)
- Confrontation unit (5 Vile-tis marauders)
- Confrontation hero (Varghar)
--2up Dropfleet UCM battleship
- custom steelbooks for some of the ps4 games

.... and already thinking about getting a new bust to try to paint someone with Vitiligo (and maybe heterochromia too)
+ thinking about starting my own line of busts to paint. (getting them sculpted by others as I suck at sculpting)

Max it looks like you do the same as me and keep it varied, it's amazing how quickly projects get sidelined when I get some random inspiration!
Dragonsreach that is a extraordinary level of control! How do you do it?!?!?

One, for me too. That said... minis do get abandoned. I may or may not return to them later. But when I abandon something, I don't consider it "on the go".
