To some extent, yes and no.

I agree that it\'s really great to get a second opinion and to have people spot things that you hadn\'t seen at first and suggest ways to improve.

But a lot of the submissions are either first time submissions (through which practice will help improve) or people who don\'t know that the article section or the forums exist.

I know that this has already been discussed, but couldn\'t the validation mail when you join CMON be completed with a short paragraphe that links to the articles and mentions that WIPs get better comments in the forum than in the gallery? Or complete the FAQ?

Oh and something likewise for the search function would really be great .

Just a thought .

There are times I wish I could edit one of my comments. I know this would drasticlly increase DR & Vike\'s workload, but every now and then I read what I wrote afterwords and realize it doesn\'t sound like I wanted it to.
