How much does the avarage score affects your rating?

I\'ve been wondering, do you guys keep the avarage into consideration when you grade a mini. I can\'t seem to help it to let my eyes drift to the average score (especially when it\'s loading slowly...)

So does it affect your scores or do you find yourself giving drastically different scores often?

Just a rant... I know...

I have tuned it off...

there is a button in your acount area with which you can hide the average.
so i never know before which average a mini has

A really good question...

This is a problem that has been challenging me lately. I try not to look at it until I have cast my vote. I never change my opinion and there is not normally too great a difference. But perhaps this should be a facility that you only get when you subscribe, or after you have taken the trouble to vote on \'X\' number of minis. (At least a 1000)?

I\'ve just re-read that and it sounds really elitist, sorry, but there is still a point, I think:bouncy:

I usually keep mine off, it makes for a better and true score.

If I plan on leaving comments, though, I\'ll leave the score on. To this extent, it affects what I say about a mini. If the model is doing lower than what I think it should have, I\'m more likely to leave positive comments that pick out more of the good points of the piece. If the model is doing a lot better than I think it should be, I\'ll go in-depth describing why I gave it a lower score.

Have fun!

Not usually - I typically am within a full point.

Though when I see a mini that is at least full point lower than what it \"deserves\" then I will vote a bit higher to compensate. I also leave a comment to the effect that this mini is underrated for whatever reason.
I think some people find this odious but also know that I very seldom do it the other way around.
