I was checking ebay when I came across this item.

I cannot believe this figure is going for this price, damn I have a demon prince, I need to get him painted up.
I am sure this mini is very nice, I am not bad mouthing it or the seller in any way I am just so jealous that a single mini can command such a price.

i am green with envy.:(

At the moment its £560 or 809 EUR or $977

yes someone does really want it, no its not rare, it is converted though.

I hope to catch one of these ebay big spenders one day. :)

unless you have a very well known name, it is only conversions that will bring you a good price on ebay.

and that guy realy wants it badly. lol

That sure smells rotten. If I was Paleobob I\'d be contacting E-Bay about this one. Seems Mighty fishy to me.......he shoul dhave checked the bidding history before he bidded.

Then again, there are people out there with more money then sense...

the constant bidding person has (1) feedback and is a new member in less than 30 days
dodgy indeed the photos are not very impressive or clear

Or, the person could have been arguing with themself going up $5 at a time trying to see when it would top out instead of using the automated bidding process. If it truly is a newb they would probably be unfamiliar with exactly the way the system works.

yep, low transaction numbers always worry me.
Could be an alias/friend of the seller trying to jack up the price.
Could be a smartasss that thinks this is funny and has no intention of buying it.
Could be for real.

John, you are right, a newb would be afraid to put all that money up in his bid at once, would put it in about five at a time until he was on top again.

It doesnt mean that at all. It could be that Paleobob put in a high figure but Ebay will only place a bid higher than the last bid. Each time the other dood put in a bid ebay automatically ups Paleobob bid.

Still I can see this mini being worth that much. Anyone want a converted (Fully) demon prince. Made to order for $1500oz.

My engine of the gods and my upcoming Paris entry is heavily converted....(close to that prince)..i wonder if I can get that much :p hehe

Am I missing something here? The price is at £205 as of 09.25 on 23/3. Doesn\'t seem that unreasonable for a converted model that size..

It\'s an extremely limited conversion, and not terribly well painted though. And it\'s selling for what Jenn Haley old figs and Alexi\'s current models tend to go for. That\'s just not right.

It was at about £560 yesterday when this thread started, but if you check Ebay it is down to £205.

I\'m confused, what has happened here?
