I like that it cuts soft plastic as I have no idea how to cleanly remove mold lines from soft plastic.
Oh, and it\'s far easier to cut yourself on a dull blade than on a sharp one.

It looks very dangerous. They should have included skin and finger nails in the list of materials the tool could cut through! lol

The seam scraper ain\'t bad but to be honest you can\'t beat a nice new sharp xacto blade.
The chisels are a bit risky for the mould line removal (and damn slow and tedious) however for sculpting details into hardened greenstuff and sculpey they are retty sweet

Reading this thread I got inspired and started removing the mould lines and flash from a box of Teutogen Guard I had lying around.
What\'s the news? I was very surprised to see that there were too few of them, since I hadn\'t \"cleaned\" any GW models for say like 5-6 years... Their cast has improved so much.

it reminded me that I actually made a 2mm chisel, when I was doing the Antique Restoration.
I was making a 1/9th scale chest of drawers out of Mahogany and needed a small chisel for the mortices & the dovetails. So I reground an old 6mm chisel I had laying around :D
now where did I put that...........

I have managed to skerwr my ankle with a needle file before, right in the joint between the foot and the shin. It did hurt, and I got a stigmata style scar. :(

I was stupid enough to be holding a component on my thigh as I drilled through it with my dremel...
Alcohol and power tools...not the best of combinations.:redface:

I\'ve seen some impressive reviews of this, Mike. One magazine said they had one in the \"gimmick\" draw, but when he actually used it he was surprised how useful it was and was using it all the time(this was an AFV magazine)

Be interested to hear your reports (should be with you today knowing Historex!)

@ Vincegamer - I just use knife sideways in a scraping fashion, and then maybe tidy up with a needle file...

I\'ve been looking for something like that for sculpting (carving). It would be an excellent tool for some of the hard drying epoxies out there.

If you\'re talking about the micro chisel, it\'s made by an American company Mission Models, and their own range of tools can be found here

I believe they have a good reputation
