Well, miniature ship building is a hobby just as big (and difficult) as pewter minis.. Believe me, I wanted a custom ship for my Pirate Gobs, but it looked like a real big project to tackle. Google it and you\'ll find a lot of stuff! Of course, you could always try to make a cardboard based one, as anything else won\'t bend too well and most kits are from a slightly smaller scale. Hope this helps!

I based my waterline Pi-rat Junks off of the Foundry article, but I cut hull shapes out of 1x4 s. Very druable, but a bit heavy to lug about. Then used bass wood to plank them and various model ship bits for details. The first one turned out very nice, still need to get around to the second one though....
