Hello,
I found this model of a Scorpion Type II Super Heavy by Mark Tait. I love it\'s color this straight red Saim Han just looks amazing on Eldar Vehicles. And the model is definatly my favourite Eldar Tank. My gf guessed that this one was done with airbrush/spray of some sort. I dunno could be blending couldn\'t it?

Thx for ur thoughts Scorpion Type II

It could be Airbrush, it could also be increadibly thin multiple washes.

You could try contacting Forgeworld and asking if they could put Mark Tait in contact with you. (They aren\'t all evil you know ;) )

I don\'t think the Forgeworld guys are shy about using Airbrushes on their models most of the time. They\'d be crazy if they didn\'t use em lol

It is a nice shade of red though, almost looks too rich to be a Citadel paint. Looks like a hot rod with a couple giant laser cannons on top!

Contacting Forgeworld

Yeah prolly I should do that. I can\'t afford the tank right now but looking forward to it. When i get it i will give it a try and ask em. Now I was just curious for your guesses. GW will supply us with some sort of an airbrush system at the 8 of June I think, thats basically why I brought the topic of.
Anyone of u got some details on that already?

All I know is that it shell work with the new washes and that u will be able to screw a bottle of paint to it. But this must wait till GW is actually delivering the new toys.

That doesn\'t have to have been done with an airbrush but spraying is certainly the easiest (and fastest) way of doing a beautiful soft grad over larger surfaces. Usually capable of giving better results than possible by hand too.
