How to flatten a resin piece ?

Hi everyone,

I have a question for you all. On the mini I received of the model shown below, my sword is a bit curved (its detached from the hand FYI).
Does anyone know how I could fix it and flatten it back ?
I guess I could warm it a bit and then press it with books or something, but I dont know with what I could warm it without damaging it.
Hope you guys know a solution !

usually hot then cold water does the trick.
Basically you heat (boil) some water, put the sword in it, take out, flatten it on a surface and put it into a bowl of cold water to fix the position.

you could also try a hair dryer, but holding it while it's being heated is no fun.

I'm sorry but when I read

my mind went automatically to ;- Use a big hammer!

But useful tip from MAXXxxx, plus if you're ever in the same situation again a steel ruler is a great support to flatten against.
